The CEO is accountable for ensuring the organisation is compliant with
legislation 
 
The central complaint is responsible for:
  • ensuring the Trust is compliant with NHS Complaints regulations
  • ensuring appropriate processes and systems are in place for managing
  • complaints effectively
  •  
  • providing managers and staff with training in complaints handling
  •  
  • advising on how best to deal with individual or complex complaints
  •  
  • providing the Trust with an overview on how well we are dealing with
  • complaints by monitoring and reporting on performance
