Evacuation Related Tasks
Often staff will be given roles to support the evacuation e.g. fire
evacuation wardens, or 'buddies' for people with disabilities
and to assist the evacuation.

The most vital things you must do on the way out are to:
  • encourage and assist others in leaving the building
  • Close all doors to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
  •

You will need to take responsibility for your own safety and not
wait for someone else to make the first move. If others refuse
to leave, then you must make your way out without delay and
report this fact immediately to the person co-ordinating the
    evacuation.
