The tube crosses the carina
The tip of the tube is in the
stomach
The tube deviates to the left at the
level of the carina which has quite
an acute angle in this patient
The tube is likely to be in the base
of the left lung
The tube crosses the carina
The tip of the tube is in the stomach
Explanation
The carina is not easy to see on this image, but the tube does not
deviate here and it is in the stomach
Even if you are unsure about the carina the tube appears to pass
down the midline and deviates to the left just above the diaphragm
which in this case is a normal variation
However, if you are ever unsure, remember, DO NOT FEED!
