Vulnerable adult harm results from acts of omission or actions

when an adult in vulnerable circumstances is treated in a way

that is considered unacceptable in a given culture at a given

time.

At all times the wellbeing of the adult at risk is paramount. For

the purposes of this learning, an adult is assumed to be the age

of 18 or above. For people below this age, the 'Safeguarding

Children Policy' applies..
