Barts Health has a policy for Whistleblowing. This policy provides
the assurance of our organisation that paid and voluntary staff can
raise concerns about the behaviour of others or about practice.
Barts Health are committed to the highest possible standard of
operation, probity and accountability. In line with this commitment,
employees and others with serious concerns about any aspect of
their work are encouraged to come forward and voice those
concerns.
The Whistleblowing Policy has been designed to assist, encourage
and enable employees to make serious concerns known.
Staff who do not report concerns about the possible abuse of a
vulnerable adult in accordance with the policy could be disciplined
for not doing so, or for colluding with the abuse.
